At 8:30\u00a0pm\u00a0the\u00a0plane\u00a0left\u00a0without\u00a0us.\u00a0We\u00a0learned\u00a0that\u00a0this\u00a0happens\u00a0often\u00a0with\u00a0easyjet\u00a0and\u00a0that\u00a0once\u00a0even\u00a030\u00a0people\u00a0didn&#8217;t\u00a0get\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0plane.\u00a0We\u00a0were\u00a0so\u00a0angry\u00a0and\u00a0disappointed.\u00a0We\u00a0wanted\u00a0to\u00a0complain\u00a0but\u00a0we\u00a0only\u00a0got\u00a0a\u00a0flyer\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0could\u00a0complain\u00a0online.\u00a0We\u00a0didn&#8217;t\u00a0know\u00a0what\u00a0to\u00a0do. The\u00a0only\u00a0option\u00a0was\u00a0to\u00a0buy\u00a0a\u00a0new\u00a0ticket\u00a0as\u00a0there\u00a0was\u00a0no\u00a0refund\u00a0but\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0too\u00a0expensive.\u00a0We\u00a0really\u00a0wanted\u00a0to\u00a0go\u00a0to\u00a0Paris, so\u00a0we\u00a0decided\u00a0to\u00a0take\u00a0Flixbus\u00a0even\u00a0though\u00a0we\u00a0would\u00a0arrive\u00a0in Paris\u00a0the\u00a0next\u00a0day\u00a0at 2pm but\u00a0it\u00a0was\u00a0worth\u00a0it.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/newgeneration-berlin\/49433670731\/in\/album-72157712813085743\/\" title=\"Vereinsgr\u00fcndung GNG Paris Ibe de France\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/65535\/49433670731_050a3dc3e1_c.jpg\" width=\"800\" height=\"389\" alt=\"Vereinsgr\u00fcndung GNG Paris Ibe de France\"><\/a><script async src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 2<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>January 18th<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;At 2:30pm&nbsp;we&nbsp;arrived&nbsp;in Paris and&nbsp;drove&nbsp;to&nbsp;Hawa\u2018s&nbsp;home. Just&nbsp;arrived&nbsp;and&nbsp;promptly&nbsp;the&nbsp;founding&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;association&nbsp;Global New Generation&nbsp;ile&nbsp;de France&nbsp;started&nbsp;which&nbsp;was&nbsp;our&nbsp;reason&nbsp;for&nbsp;coming&nbsp;here. This was&nbsp;one&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;longest&nbsp;meetings&nbsp;I&nbsp;ever&nbsp;had&nbsp;with&nbsp;Celisha&nbsp;May and Hawa&nbsp;Diaby&nbsp;but in&nbsp;the&nbsp;end&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;founded&nbsp;our&nbsp;association&nbsp;Global New Generation&nbsp;ile&nbsp;de France. The&nbsp;board&nbsp;of&nbsp;directors&nbsp;is&nbsp;as&nbsp;follows: Hawa&nbsp;Fofana&nbsp;president, Hoda Abdallah&nbsp;treasurer, Sonja Prinz&nbsp;secretary. The&nbsp;association&nbsp;will&nbsp;take&nbsp;care&nbsp;of&nbsp;women&nbsp;and&nbsp;children&nbsp;who&nbsp;have&nbsp;fled&nbsp;from&nbsp;violence.&nbsp;It&nbsp;will&nbsp;help&nbsp;them&nbsp;with&nbsp;paperwork,&nbsp;sanitary&nbsp;things&nbsp;and will&nbsp;provide&nbsp;the&nbsp;necessary&nbsp;psychological&nbsp;treatment. The&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;long&nbsp;time&nbsp;until&nbsp;the&nbsp;evening&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;all&nbsp;simply&nbsp;tired&nbsp;from&nbsp;the&nbsp;long&nbsp;bus&nbsp;ride.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Day 3&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>January 19th<\/strong>\u00a0Sunday was\u00a0our\u00a0last and\u00a0first\u00a0full\u00a0day\u00a0in Paris. At 12\u00a0noon\u00a0we\u00a0went\u00a0to\u00a0Gabriel and Gabi\u00a0where\u00a0we\u00a0had\u00a0an\u00a0appointment\u00a0with\u00a0them\u00a0for\u00a0dinner. Gabriel\u00a0is\u00a0an\u00a0old\u00a0journalist\u00a0friend.
