Im Mittelpunkt steht das “Erlebnis Familie” in all den facettenreichen Formen unserer Realität. Wir wollen außerhalb von gängigen Rollenbildern, unsere Ausdrücke von Liebe und Verständnis, sowie Pflichten von heutigen Familienkonstellationen erkunden und dokumentieren.

Opening Festival

Le 11 août 2019, nous avons ouvert les Journées de la jeunesse africaine sur la Leopoldplatz avec un festival public, qui se déroule dans le style de la Journée de la jeunesse africaine. Toutes les initiatives, associations, groupes et bien sûr les habitants étaient invités.

Il s’agissait d’un engagement clair en faveur de la tolérance et de la coexistence pacifique, mais aussi d’un engagement clair contre la discrimination, le racisme et toutes les formes d’exclusion.

“Mit spoken Word gegen Rassismus” est un atelier de l’Innitiative Perspektivenwechsel. Plus d’informations

Les intervenants* de l’initiative Perspektivenwechsel proposent un atelier d’histoire interactif pour les jeunes de 12 à 21 ans. Ensemble, nous voyagerons dans le temps jusqu’au Cameroun. Le pays d’Afrique centrale a été une colonie allemande pendant 35 ans, les participants apprennent à travers des bandes dessinées, des images et du matériel audio et vidéo, les différentes stratégies de résistance anticoloniale du Cameroun. Il est urgent de parler de la discrimination raciste avec les enfants le plus tôt possible. De cette manière, les modèles d’exclusion raciste sont exposés et examinés de manière critique. Les élèves plus âgés* réfléchissent à leur propre position et à leur propre responsabilité.

3.10.19- 5.10.19 Dans le Permakulturgarten Peace of Land

Inspirés par les bâtiments Earthship merveilleusement créatifs dans lesquels les gens vivent en autosuffisance avec les ressources de la nature, nous construisons ensemble un mur de bouteilles et de paille d’argile. Nous traiterons des choses fascinantes qui peuvent être créées à partir de matériaux recyclés et de la façon dont on peut s’en procurer. En même temps, nous apprenons une technique très ancienne, à savoir la construction écologique avec de l’argile et de la paille, qui était traditionnellement utilisée dans de nombreuses régions du monde et qui connaît actuellement une renaissance en Allemagne. Nous tamponnons l’argile avec nos pieds et construisons un mur avec nos mains. Couper des bouteilles avec le coupe-bouteilles peut vous inspirer à faire tout ce que vous pouvez avec des bouteilles vides.

Au cours de l’atelier pratique, nous recevons encore et encore des contributions d’autres utilisateurs du jardin, par exemple une courte excursion dans la construction écologique avec de la paille, de la pierre, du chanvre, de l’argile et du bois. Nous explorerons les risques des microplastiques et nous chercherons ensemble des alternatives au plastique et aux autres matériaux. Quels sont les avantages de réutiliser les matériaux usagés au lieu d’en acheter de nouveaux, et quel serait l’impact global d’un changement de comportement des consommateurs ? Les principes de base de la permaculture seront également un apport important, car l’atelier aura lieu dans le jardin de permaculture.

Take part in our all-day permaculture design training. The training takes place on an area of 24 ha in Techiman/Ghana. The 2-week Accredited Permaculture Design Education program provides you with the knowledge and skills you need to sustain sustainable systems in your personal life, in a community or worldwide. Permaculture as a design practice has its roots in a deep understanding of the relationships between living creatures to their animate and inanimate environment. It is our aim to understand these ecological relationships to secure a lasting basis for life for nature and people: ecologically, economically and socially. At the end of the course you will have acquired in-depth knowledge and practical skills for sustainable living and design. You are sure to be able to create your own Create permaculture designs. You can create and be an inspiring example of change. Be part of it.

Football support in Kenya

Global New Generation Kenya donated sports equipment – Including footballs, jerseys, shorts and socks to The Dreams Alive Foundation as a commitment to The Sustainable Development Through Sports programme in Kenya, a programme supported by Global New Generation International.

The Dreams Alive Foundation runs a football academy that address social issues through sports in Siaya County.

Les objectifs de développement durable (ODD), également appelés objectifs mondiaux, constituent un appel universel à l’action pour mettre fin à la pauvreté, protéger la planète et faire en sorte que tous jouissent de la paix et de la prospérité.

Avec les 17 objectifs de développement durable (ODD), les Nations Unies demandent un avenir meilleur pour notre monde: assurer une bonne nutrition et un monde libre d’ici 2030. En outre, les ODD favorisent l’accès à une éducation et à une santé de qualité pour tous. 139 pays ont signé ce futur traité appelé “Agenda 2030”.

Global New Generation crée plusieurs matériels didactiques, comme la plateforme interactive d’apprentissage en ligne GNG Homeschool pour la sensibilisation et d’encouragement à l’engagement.

Football in the GNG Gambia

What a great football tournament today. The kids were very motivated with their new jerseys! At this point a huge thank you to the Clubheim BSC REHBERGE and the FSV Babelsberg 74 e.V.! To the Team of @Global New Generation Berlin Collecting all the stuff, Global New Generation Gambia Team, especially Jack Conteh sending it charge free and safe to the Gambia. Also a huge thank you for the Trainers in Gambia, Alex Dawda Samateh and Pabittaye and all others trying so hard to Take the Kids away from the streets. And not to forget our chairman of the GNG Gambia and chairwoman of the GNG int, bringing us all together and pushing it all the time.

Was für ein tolles Fußballturnier heute. Die Kinder waren sehr motiviert mit ihren neuen Trikots! An dieser Stelle ein großes Dankeschön an den @BSV Babelsberg und die FSV Rehberge 74! An das Team von @Global New Generation Berlin die all die Sachen eingesammelt haven, Global New Generation GambiaTeam, speziell Jack Conteh see die Sachen kostenlos und sicher nach Gambia geschafft hat. Auch ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Trainer in Gambia, Alex Dawda Samateh und Pabittaye und alle anderen die sich so toll einsetzen um die Kids von den Straßen zu holen. Und nicht zu vergessen unser Vorsitzender der GNG Gambia und Vorsitzende der GNG int, die uns alle zusammenbringen und die Mission immer wieder antreiben.

Global New Generation football academy in Gambia

The Concept of Global New Generation football academy in Gambia is to bring together a group of children in the ages of 6-15 years and use sports as a method to develop their personal skills and to groom them into pawners and pillars of the society. Football or soccer as it it mostly known, develops leadership skills, critical thinking, teamwork, responsibility, accountability, focus and its very fun for those playing and those watching. through mentorship and proper training, the kids stand a chance to play in divisional league. At this level they are at advantage side of attending trails in deferent big clubs and different countries in Africa, Europe, Asia and America. This stage allows them to showcase their talent and make a living from it as a profession, in the mist of all of this we will be assisting the communities and helping families and individuals.

In order for us to achieve this goals we need to create a better enveroment and football atmosphere, but we cannot achieve all of this without best football/Soccer materials which the Academy is lacking at the moment. We are calling on donations and sponsors to join hands in achieving this goals. In collaboration with the Gambia football associations

Chicken Project/GNG Senegal

The Global New Generation Senegal (GNG Senegal) was founded in 2011 and is a part of the Global New Generation network. The non-governmental-organization (NGO) has its domicile in Dakar, the Senegalese capital.

Development and education are the main focus of the NGO. The organization’s first projects take place in the village of Kounoune/Senegal, close to the seaport Rufisque.

The people of this region mainly live from agriculture and stockbreeding. Due to this, the financial situation of the population is weak, because they live people from hand to mouth. Their income mainly depends on the weather and is very insecure.

GNG Senegal has decided to support the local population.

One of the goals of GNG Senegal is the growth of the hospital of Kounoune. During the rainy season (mainly between August and October) floods cause many accidents as well as increasing malaria cases. In this period the hospital is overcrowded. The hospitals staff doesn’t receive any support from the government; they have to face the situation all by themselves. Since the hospital is the only one in the area, the neighboring villages Keur Ndiaya Lo, Keur Daouda Sarr as well as Ngalap send their patients to Kounoune.

The equipment in the hospital is very insufficient; mosquito nets, beds, bed covers, towels, medicaments and antiseptic are missing. Therefore even simple sicknesses are often not treated and the danger of infection is constantly rising, mainly for children. Especially the baby ward is susceptible.

A further objective is the support of the school in Kounoune. School attendance shall be guaranteed for all children. Unfortunately this is not always possible due to the financial situation of many families. Often the parents are not able to buy the basic needs for school such as pens, pencils, exercise books, slates and satchels etc.

Youth unemployment is a further problem in the region, often young men and women don’t have any perspective.

The young German photographer and roofer Ben Lützig started a hiking tour from Gerolstein (Germany) to Tarifa (Spain) on 8^th July 2012 in order to collect donations for GNG Senegal to support the village of Kounoune. During his “hike for people”, which took more than 4 months, Ben met many helpful and friendly people who supported his project. In the end, simple people donated 830€ for Kounoune.

Sustainability and personal responsibility are basic principles of Global New Generation. History taught us that the simple delivery of donations only creates dependence but is to no extent sustainable. This kind of dependence is no base for sustainable projects and furthermore does not create equal partnerships within the work of development policy.

That’s why GNG Senegal created a sustainable self-help project which guarantees the long-term support of the local hospital and school. At the same time, the project creates employment for young people.

Since Kounoune is located in an agricultural region, the GNG Senegal decided for a chicken project. Young chicken were bought and will be raised within a period of 45 days and then some of them will be sold and others kept for further breeding. The surplus will be used to buy the basic needs for the hospital and the school as described above.
