With the project “Les Rythmes de la Terre” (The Rhythms of the Earth), we invite children and young people to rediscover their environment with all their senses. The focus is on ecological connections, a love of nature, and media literacy.
Throughout 2026 and 2027, we will explore the vibrations and rhythms of nature – from the green spaces outside our front doors to the North Sea ecosystem and the artificial tropics at Tropical Islands. Using audio sensors, microphones, and creative media work, we will investigate the questions: What does our environment sound like? And how do plants communicate?
